Multi-instrumentalist Harry Greene has firmly cemented himself as a masterful Musical Director, arranger, and sideman. As a jazz bandleader, his own projects have enjoyed sell-out performances at a variety of top UK and European venues.
An in-demand guitarist and saxophonist, Harry has shared the stage with artists such as Mica Paris, Cory Wong, PBUG, Mo Pleasure (Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire), and Rumer. He was also personally selected to share the stage with New Power Generation original member and Prince side-woman Marva King for her last UK Tour. Another recent highlight was being asked to participate in ‘Ronnie Scott’s 60’ Gala at the Royal Albert Hall. Harry has also collaborated with a number of leading names including KT Tunstall, Matt Lucas, and Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson as part of a recent 13-week Sky TV series featuring UK boogie-woogie sensation Tom Seals.
Aside from his performing and touring career which sees him travel worldwide to locations such as China, Dubai, and much of Europe, Harry is also a highly regarded writer. He’s had numerous compositions of his placed on prime-time television programs, covering a wide variety of genres from Big Band to Afrobeat. Harry has also collaborated as a songwriter with incredible artists such as Natasha Hamilton (Atomic Kitten), Stefan Mahendra, and Conor Albert - whose single ‘Moonlight’ is currently sitting at over 5 million streams on Spotify. In the studio, Harry has recorded sessions for a number of top brands such as Stella Artois, Audio Network, and Disney.
Harry is a qualified educator, having led courses at the prestigious Aldeburgh Young Musicians, a UK centre for musical excellence.

I've a new project with UK funk sensation Ashton Jones, two sell out shows at Ronnie Scott's so far. "Led with a mix of panache, never ending energy and passion by frontman Ashton Jones and astutely marshalled by guitarist Harry Greene, this almighty collection of gifted musicians had the sell-out audience off their feet well before the end." Two more gigs coming up in early 2024 (Bury St. Edmunds and Milton Keynes).
On Tour with Tom Seals
Looking forward to lots more gigs and touring with UK piano man Tom Seals across 2023.
I'm lucky enough to be involved with a wide range of different bands and projects, check some of them out here!
With an eclectic set featuring their own originals and re-worked standards, the band draws on a wide range of influences from Art Blakey, Dexter Gordon, Hank Mobley, Donald Byrd, Horace Silver, Freddie Hubbard among others.
The band comprises some of the country's most exciting and respected jazz musicians, and together they capture the Blue Note spirit while adding their own brilliant styles and sense of originality.
“Harry's tenor framed the song; warm, deliberate and confident.”

I have co-led week-long residencies at Aldeburgh Young Musicians, a musical Centre of Excellence at Snape Maltings. These have involved coaching large groups of mixed age and ability pupils, focusing on developing their improvisational and ensemble playing skills. These courses have culminated in hour-long performances, where the students have performed material from memory they have composed themselves throughout the week.
“Harry Greene is an outstanding musician, collaborator and educator. His creative approach to music making has led to him being a consistent top choice when selecting musicians to work with our Aldeburgh Young Musicians. As an alumnus of Aldeburgh Young Musicians, when he returns now as a professional to work alongside the aspiring young musicians, they find him approachable, inspirational and fun.”
“Harry is a rare example of someone who possesses exceptional talent and musicality as well as a warm and friendly personality with a strong commitment to his work.”
Stacey Kurtz Campkin - Head of Aldeburgh Young Musicians
“Everyone has had the time of their lives this week, with almost everyone saying it's the best musical experience they've ever had….they have really shown us the potential we all have!”
Connor Hargreaves – AYM student
